Qingdao International Convention Center

Qingdao International Convention Center is a large-scale international exhibition center invested and constructed by Qingdao Changji Real Estate Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the national large-scale enterprise Nanshan Group, with an investment of 2 billion RMB. The design was done by the American NBBJ company. The convention center is located on the eastern coastal avenue in Jimo District, Qingdao City, with the Laoshan Bay sea area to the south, approximately 50 kilometers from the Qingdao Municipal Government. It can be directly reached via road, light rail, yacht, and other transportation facilities, making it extremely convenient.

The exhibition center has overall planning for four functional areas, including the construction of two main halls, a multifunctional hall, and ten standard exhibition halls. The main body is a single-story steel structure design, with a total construction area of approximately 220,000 square meters, and a total exhibition area of approximately 180,000 square meters. The indoor total exhibition area of the exhibition center is about 120,000 square meters, capable of accommodating more than 6,000 standard booths. The outdoor exhibition ground is about 60,000 square meters, and the supporting functional area is about 40,000 square meters.

As the largest international convention center in the northern China region, the exhibition hall has comprehensive functions such as exhibitions, conferences, business, catering, etc. It can host large-scale industrial machinery exhibitions, equipment exhibitions, and other professional exhibitions, as well as jewelry, luxury goods, and other medium and small-sized high-end displays. It can also undertake various scales of forums, conferences, activities, etc. It can receive tens of thousands of people per day. The convention center and the surrounding areas of Jimo City are equipped with four and five-star hotels, as well as business-type hotels of different grades, capable of accommodating tens of thousands of people at the same time for accommodation and dining. Large commercial and leisure entertainment facilities are fully equipped.
